Oblong Industries raises $65M
Oblong Industries, a Los Angeles-based developer of data
visualization and collaboration tools, raised
$65 million in new funding from Greenspring Associates, Morgan Stanley,
Foundry Group, Industry Ventures and UTIMCO.
Leanplum closes $29M
Series C round
Leanplum, a four-year-old, San Francisco-based mobile marketing
platform, announced
that it raised $29 million in Series C Funding from new investor Canaan
Partners, with participation from existing backers Kleiner Perkins and
Shasta Ventures.

A list of potential Hillary Clinton
running mates contained several prominent tech and business leaders,
including Apple’s Tim Cook, Bill and Melinda Gates and General
Motors CEO Mary Barra, according to a Bloomberg report
citing WikiLeaks release of emails from campaign chair John Podesta.
Clinton’s campaign declined to confirm the authenticity of the
emails.
