MailCharts manually signs up for companies based on customer requests. More often than not we already have the companies you want but, sometimes, we need to add new companies for you. Adding new companies is free and usually takes less than a week. Please note: Since we manually sign up for every company, we can’t get data for Banks, Pharmaceuticals, Utilities, or Telecommunications companies.
With over 30,000 companies in the database, it’d be tough to list everyone. Visit our companies page to see if we already have the companies you’re interested in. We can quickly add any new companies you care about at no additional cost (so long as they have some form of checkout flow).
So long as the company you want has a checkout process, we can add them for you (think: Netflix, Jet.com, Patagonia, etc). If you’d like a non e-commerce brand to be added, please email us — we sometimes make exceptions for customers on our Pro plans.
When we manually sign up for a company we also perform persona-specific actions to trigger different behavioral emails. This allows us to gather the data needed to compare the email journey of a purchaser vs. that of a cart abandoner, for example. We can perform any and all actions you want—be it abandoning a cart, signing up for a webinar, completing a purchase, and so on. Learn more here.

Please note that purchaser journeys are available only to customers on our yearly plan. We’ll gladly spend up to 10% of your plan’s fee — and if that’s not enough we can always chat about expanding this. Learn more here.
In a word, no. The data that powers the MailCharts platform is curated exclusively by our data team, which enables our ability to create powerful Email Journeys—including triggering behavioral emails and purchaser segmentation emails.
You may have seen a different approach using panel data which aims to take a panel actual users’ inboxes and statistically evaluate open or clicks rates using sampling—this is similar to how TV ratings work.
